Be part of a stronger dental community

On 1 July 2021, The Faculty of General Dental Practice in the West of Scotland became CGDent Scotland (CGD SCOT Community Interest Company). Although our name has changed we continue to run our Annual Study Day and support colleagues at student and VT level in particular.

CGDSCOT-CIC is an affiliate of The College of General Dentistry which is the successor organisation of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK).

The FGDP(UK) was formed in 1992 and ever since the West of Scotland has been a dynamic team focused on representing all grass roots dentists and members of the dental profession. It’s our goal to encourage dental professionals to share knowledge, learn new skills and work together to improve their practices.
